Articles written by Bob a.k.a. DarkEvil

Subscribe to me on YouTubeBob a.k.a. DarkEvil collaborated at the creation of Geek Mode with Solo the CyberpunK or Solo, for short, who had the idea. Apart from writing articles for the site, he usually does some maintenance work, cosmetic changes and he adds new functions from time to time. Bob is particularly interested in anything that might entertain him. He mainly likes video games, then movies and television series, finally graphic novels, but he also likes many other things, including electronic music, even though he's not particularly knowledgeable about it. He appreciates things that stand out, which he always counts as a positive point if it's well done, but he's not picky and will like anything that can entertain him. For games, having a preference towards those with complex stories that will permit him to get out of our monotonous world, he has a slight tendency for RPGs. Not unlike Solo, he is open to the cyberpunk universe. He also shares ideas for the Geek Mode webcomic from time to time. Finally, he contributes lots of videos of retro video games on YouTube (lots of them are complete walkthroughs at the request of various people). You can visit his channel here or you can subscribe directly by clicking on the badge at the left. Here is a list of articles written by him (originally in French, which he translated to English), by release date.

Legend :
  • (Negative) = negative review (if applicable).
  • (Average) = average review (if applicable). The product has some good points, but it might not be of enough worth or the bad points are greater than the good points. The final choice might be yours, using the review to help.
  • (Positive) = positive review (if applicable).
  • (Hidden gem) = review of a product which is not well-known or had poor sales and that is judged as not popular enough by the reviewer.
  • "Geek's choice!" = review of a product which is totally worth it according to the reviewer's opinion. It's more of a personal choice than anything else, but it also describes a product that's near perfection or that's offering something different and great that you shouldn't miss.

  1. ActRaiser (Hidden gem) & "Geek's choice!"
  2. Dragon Ball (first 16 tomes/anime series) "Geek's choice!"
